In my discussion with Dr. Rafferty, we talked about things I liked and didn’t like. With my smile, I had some gaps that I really wanted to work on that bothered me, which caused me not to smile. So with the Invisalign, it was really cool to see before they showed me how it would close up the gaps, and it really did.
In preparation at Dr. Rafferty’s office for the Invisalign, there was a few things involved, a few different steps, a few different visits. The process was painless and seamless. It was explained to me very well.
I definitely feel like it helped a lot, made me more confident. I’m definitely more up to smile now. I know in the original discussions, I talked about not doing my bottom teeth, and he encouraged me it was best because they support the top teeth, and I’m really glad I did that because I do not regret that.
I do think that was the right choice. So he had great advice, definitely. I’m really thankful that I chose to try Invisalign.
So Invisalign made a huge difference, and I’m very happy and confident now.

I actually have highly recommended here to lots of friends and family. Anyone that mentions they’re looking for a dentist, I definitely recommend here. Dr. Rafferty’s staff is great.
They’re all wonderful, make you feel comfortable, very accommodating. I have no troubles getting an appointment. I always leave very satisfied and with suggestions they make and taking great care of my teeth.

Well, I think people that are coming down to Thomas Patrick Rafferty’s dental, DDS, should feel very comfortable. The office is good. You might get a cup of coffee out of it once in a while.
And everything is very comfortable, from going in and having my head x-rayed all the way around to see if they can pick up anything that might be new or not so new. And then he would explain what is going on in my mouth. As far as I can see, he takes care of his employees and as well as he takes care of his patients.
So it’s worth it. I’ve brought my son down a couple of times and he’s been very good to my son Liam.

I had some soreness in my mouth in different places. Every once in a while I might bite on a peanut or something and it would go out of my mind. When I first started straightening things out, he determined through maybe the pain in my mouth that this particular tooth was not in the best shape of the world.
So, I mean, he relieved that problem and I did some implants through his office. I don’t have any problems anticipating eating or chewing. If I have a nice prime rib or steak, I enjoy munching down on it and not anticipating any pain or no pain.

I have a lot of periodontal problems and being able to see a periodontist who is clearly very skilled and has a lot of experience, he was able to allay a lot of my concerns about what’s going to happen down the road, because periodontal disease just gets worse. So Dr. Rafferty has helped reduce my anxiety about periodontal work, mainly just through his very gentle and friendly manner. He explains things in a very easy to understand way, and also just being friendly and outgoing, and he really puts me at ease, and he was able to allay a lot of my anxiety about, you know, if you do these things, you’re going to be okay.
And that was huge for me in terms of allaying a lot of anxiety that was weighing on me.
